Yes, the Inauguration Ceremony will be webcast on the inauguration website and a recording made available in the days following the event. There is also a webcast with ASL.

I'm attempting to register my attendance, but am getting an error on the first page. Why is this happening?
If you receive an error when attempting to proceed to the next page of the registration, it's most likely because you entered a different address than what we have on file. If you were emailed a save-the-date or an electronic invitation, the email address we sent it to would be the one we have on file for you. If you received a printed invitation and are not sure which email address to use, please contact Institute Events.
I've been invited to march...do I wear academic regalia?
Yes, all participants in the academic procession will wear regalia (cap, gown, and hood, if applicable.) Delegates representing institutions other than MIT wear the regalia of that institution. MIT faculty, staff, and students wear the regalia of their own alma maters.
Note: the deadline to request rental regalia has passed, however, we will do our best to assist. If you own regalia and just need to sign up, you'll be able to indicate that during registration.
I am an MIT faculty member - may I register to march at the Inauguration Ceremony?
Yes, please join us! You may search within your email for an invitation sent by inauguration@mit.edu or ping us to request the link to sign up.

I am a delegate representing an institution and am having trouble with registration. What should I do?
Glad you can join us! If you have been asked by the leadership of your institution to represent it in the academic procession, we will need your email for the registration system. Please contact us.
If you are receiving an error after trying to move forward to the next registration page, make sure you are using the email that received your save-the-date or invitation.

Yes! The Inauguration Shuttle will be running on May 1, 2023 from 7am–11pm. Please note it will only run on Inauguration Day.
